    Hello from Norway.</P>


    I Have a Hammond Elegante 340207, thats plays great.</P>


    I realy love the organ, but I miss Midi...</P>


    Does anybody know how to midifying it, with a midi-retrofit kit?</P>


    Do I need "matrix-scan" or "one wire to every key?</P>


    This is a prosject I realy love to start with....</P>


    Please brainstorm with me...</P>

I remember Wersi had a <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on">MIDI</st1:place> kit compatible with the Elegante in the mid 80’s. I don’t know however what the method of connection was. Seemed a lengthy procedure as the installation work was done outside the customer’s home. I read there was a 340 series built with MIDI installed, although not aware of any units made in Canada.</SPAN></P>

      I think Fredy2 does retrofit MIDI kits. Maybe he can help if he reads this - he probably will!

        Is it possible to get hand on this kit from Wersi? Maybe Wersi in Germany? </P>


        The organ sound even greater through the leslie 412 who is 3 channel, and more powerful.. [:)] but with both connected, WOW [:)]</P>

I’m not yet able to find any info on such a kit as a result of a web search.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>They did however offer a <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on">MIDI</st1:place> sound module (organ in a box concept). <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"></SPAN>I was told that of some Elegantes that had that module connected.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

This store closed more than 20 years ago.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

              I have been digging around Kurt, and I've posted over on Hammondzone for you as well. No luck so far.</p>

              I don't know if this MC6 is the MIDI interface itself or if it's just the controller that lets you select sounds etc.</p>

              I'll let you know what I find out.</p>
