The Rodgers 340 Theater Organ I am restoring has reached a point where everything works. Now it’s time to voice the organ. My friend, Edward Torres came over for the day to help me. With schematics and service manual in hand, we made two passes through the voicing process. It was a great learning experience and the organ already sounds much better. Since I do not yet play, I asked Edward to play a few pieces so that I could walk around the room and hear it. He did and allowed me to share these recordings on my blog.

I have learned a lot from many people hethe OrganForum and for that I am grateful. I’m working to chronicle what I am learning so that I can share it with others.
If you are interested in the Rodgers 340 or similar vintage Rodgers Theater Organ, I invite you to follow my blog as I learn to restore and play this magnificent instrument. I will also share tips and connect other 340 owners. If you have a tip or link to share, I am eager to learn.
