  • Conn 651 - Worth It, and Second Touch?

Have the opportunity to pick up a Conn 651, but considering the time and labor involved in moving a theater organ, It's something I want to do more than I have to.

Thus, I want to get it right on the first go, if at all possible.

One feature in particular I'm looking for in a theater organ is second touch. I'm not sure whether the 651 is too early to include such a feature, and I've been unsuccessful in acquiring a manual.

Does the Conn 651 have second touch and is it otherwise a worthwhile investment for casual theater organ practicing?

    Thanks in advance!

CONN 651 does not have 2nd touch.

If all is working, this is a great theater organ. I have enjoyed mine for over 30 years and cannot bear to part with it.

AFAIK, no second touch on any of the Conn models.
