  • Conn Theatre Organ, 650 I think?

    Hello to All!

I've recently found this site and am hoping for some expert opinions.  I reside in Bremerton, Washington, roughly and hour and a half away from Seattle.  I am presently cleaning out my parent's condo to get it ready to sell.  In this condo is an organ that my mother used as a practice organ.  It's a Conn and I believe it to be a 650 by what I've read on this forum.  Can anyone please tell me where I might be able to locate things such as the serial number, model number, etc.  This organ has 3 keyboards and is very large.  My mother purchased this organ in the 70's.  It's in good shape and still plays.  She is unable to help me with information on it as she has had a stroke and her memory is damaged.  I have some pictures that I can forward in an email if that could be helpful to help identify it.  Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much for your time!

If it's a full console 3 manual Conn, it's either a 650, 651, 652 or 653. Serial number plates are often underneath the keyboards or around at the back where the AC cord goes in. If you email me a photo or two I'll ID this onefor you. andrew @ andrew-gilbert.com (no spaces, of course!)

It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

I'm in West Seattle and have a 651 in Merrill Gardens retirement center of 35th Ave SW. I know the difference in the Conn 3 manual models. Email me with your phone number and we can discuss your organ to determine the model. I can tell you things to check so you know the exact condition and if anything should be done before you sell it.
