Anyone have any idea where I can get a 5 pin interceptor plug to use with a CONN 650? I checked OrganService but did not find one listed by name interceptor, but I also do not know a part number.

Re: Conn interceptor
Are you talking about the 5 pin interceptor plug that allows you to connect up an external leslie?
It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

Re: Conn interceptor
The one I am looking for is a 5 pin male plug attached to 5'pin' socket. There is a silver metal housing that surrounds theassembly and from that, there are three wires. I guess the original purpose was to allow for a Leslie connection. I am not the original owner of my 650- it has some things that I do not believe are standard. On the trem unit, there is already an interceptor and the wires go to a leslie connector box that is attached to a plate mounted vertically in the back of the organ. There is also a connector for a 251 beneath the amp, mounted on the outside with wires that run back into the organ. I have built a trem cabinet that I would like to be able to plug in, in addition to the onboard trem, so I would need another interceptor that I would then have to wire up with the five wires. I have pics but do not know how to include them for this post.

Re: Conn interceptor
First, get the service manual with the schematics. You need to know what the 5 pins do. Then you can just cut into the wires and make your own interceptor with whatever connectors you find available: molex, cinch-jones or any of a zillion other brands.
The basic interceptor was for connecting up pipe speakers. It went to a box with a 3 position switch that turned on internal, both, or just pipe speakers. It was 8 pins.
I have a 651. The schematics show only an 8 pin interceptor "Pipe Installation Kit". The organ has 6 pin and 12 pin external speaker sockets. The 651 amplifier doesn't have any 5 pin speaker connectors. The leslie has a 5 pin connector, but the other end that connects to the amplifier is a 6 pin connector. For what you want to do, you should have the 650 service manual to insure you have the right part numbers if you want to make your own "interceptor" using the old connectors.
