Wow! Wish I could make it, David. Google map says it's only a 5-hour drive from here! Seriously, I would dearly love to come down and hear that organ one day and meet up with you too. Perhaps I'll be able to do that as business winds down.

Sure to be a great program on a magnificent organ in a lovely setting. Can you post a pic of the program sheet?

That's a BIG program! Mentioned above, composer McNeil Robinson and I grew up together, as play mates, and school mates, in Birmingham, Alabama. He was inspired to practice on the piano....I was threatened to practice on the piano. Ha.

Thanks for sharing the program, David. Even though I live too far away to attend, I always find it interesting to see what pieces are being programmed. You are in for a real treat. Your church is fortunate to have you as such a great promoter of the organ.

Well, I was there and took some photos for the church. I also had a short chat with the Organist (Dr. Hamilton). He played a great concert for us, but I don't think he's a fan of Klais instruments (he said so).

One of the challenges in this part of the country is getting a decent audience for organ concerts. Was your event well attended?

I'm guessing maybe 100 folk in attndance. In a 1300-seat Sanctuary it looks sparse, though.
