    How To Unsubscribe from Notifications

Here's how to unsubscribe from receiving notification messages:

    1. Go to your Settings.
    2. Click the subscription folder that contains the threads subscriptions you wish to manage under My Subscriptions in the left side bar. (It's possible to organize your subscriptions into multiple folders, so if you've done this, you need to choose the appropriate folder.)
    3. You will see a list of threads that you've subscribed to.
    4. Put a check in the checkbox for each of the threads you wish to manage.
    5. Scroll down to the bottom of the list and click the button Selected Threads
    6. Choose the desired subscription option for the threads you've selected.
    7. Click the Go button at the bottom of the option list.

Alternatively, in the Forum proper, go to each thread that you've subscribed to and select Unsubscribe from this thread from the Thread Tools menu at the top of the list of posts.

If you've elected to automatically subscribe to threads you post in, you'll need to go to Settings/My Account/General Settings and alter the Default Subscription Mode in Messaging & Notifications settings.

If you've subscribed to Forums as well as threads, you'll have to manage those subscriptions as well. In the Forum proper, in the list of Forums, click the black dot to the right of the forum's name. (If you're not subscribed to the forum, it will be a green circle with a check mark that'd you'd click to subscribe.)

Alternatively, in the Forum proper, go to the forum you wish to manage, and click Unsubscribe from this Forum in the Forum Tools menu at the top of the list of threads.
