How Do I Create or Edit My Signature?
- Go to your User Settings
- Click the Account tab
- Under Conversation Detail Options/Visible Post Elements click the Edit Post Signature link
- Use the editor to add and edit the content of your signature.
- Signatures can contain most of the same elements that appear in posts including formatted text, images, links, and attachments.
- The size of images and attachments, and the number of lines of text that can be included in a signature are subject to limitations and are subject to change.
- Click the editor's Save button to complete the editing of your signature.
- Note that changing your signature changes your signature on all of your Forum postings regardless of age.
How To Show Or Hide Signatures
- Go to your User Settings
- Click the Account tab
- Under Conversation Detail Options/Visible Post Elements check the box for Show Post Signatures to see your signature and those of others.. Uncheck the box to hide signatures.
- Make sure that you have the Show Post Signatures option checked in your User Settings. (See above)
- Your signature might not appear immediately on new posts that you make, due to the way the Forum caches data to improve performance, but will appear eventually. Sometimes refreshing the page in your browser will hasten its appearance.
