Maximum Image & Media Sizes

If you've attempted to upload a picture, video, or attachment and have been met by an error, chances are you're exceeding the maximum size limits for dimensions and/or file size. Current limits are

Forum	bmp, gif	4096 x 4096	500 KB
Forum	jpg, png	4096 x 4096	1 MB
Forum	pdf	n/a	1 MB
Forum	mp3, wma	n/a	5 MB
Gallery	all picture format	2048 x 2048	6 MB
Gallery	all other file types	n/a	6 MB

Most digital cameras' default image size will exceed the maximum dimensions permitted and will need to be reduced in size to be uploaded to the Forum and Gallery.

Also keep in mind that the allotted storage space for attachments is currently limited to 50 MB per user and you will lose the ability to upload additional attachments when you hit that limit.
