I just learned how to rate a thread. In the upper right hand corner of the page there is a place that states "rate this thread". The font is small. I'm do not know the usefulness of the rating system. Is a thread marked in someway as it gets a higher rating?

A number of stars corresponding to the threads rating appears to the right of the threads name in the thread list for a topic. The rating is the average of all of the ratings received for that the thread to date. If a thread shows no stars, no one has rated it.
Scroll through the list of threads in the Hammond section. I'm sure you'll find some that have been rated.
