Facebook Icons slowing down page loading time

I have been experiencing a good 10 second lag as I wait for the
2 Facebook icons to load { connect at the top and like under the banner ads}. I run win7 on a P4 tower on high speed wifi.
Any thoughts?

Robert,

I've experienced the same, but it comes and goes. It may be related to Google Ads at the top of the page, as well as doubleclick.net. All 3 tend to slow down the loading of pages for any website you visit--especially if you have them blocked by a firewall. Personally, I just deal with it.
