You can view and delete attachments in your Settings under My Settings/Miscellaneous/Attachments. Clicking that link will bring up a list of your attachments. Use the check boxes to select those attachments you wish to delete then click the Delete button at the bottom of the list. See picture:

How is what you're seeing different? Do you see the checkboxes? Do you see the Delete button? Have you tried scrolling the page horizontally to make sure you're seeing the entire page? What browser and browser version are you using?

My delete function is no longer available on my attachment page.
      I deleted 400 or so.......
It's says I've still got 317 pics. Would like to delete them.

Doesn't seem possible without a delete function?

The delete icon is no longer on the attachment management page on my screen.
Thumbnails on the left at the bottom, nothing on the right......no delete function.
I tried to do this in private and have been forced to ask in front of the class........
"Where has my delete function icon gone?"

          thanks,
          Pete

Here's the thing, I don't know why you're not seeing the delete button. There have been no changes to the Forum software in over a year. There have been no changes to your account. I'm trying to help but, unfortunately, you still haven't completely answered my questions. You can try to post a screen shot instead if providing answers is too much of a problem. Finally, I don't know why you say you were forced to take this public. You started this thread a day before contacting me via PM.

Sorry, I PM'd you when the thread had no response after awhile.....
              no worries,thanks for the help!

Apparently I still have 27megs or so in 315 pics, and no way to delete them.
No delete icon or check boxes at the bottom right or beside the posts.

Please send me your password via private message so I can pursue this further. I'm not seeing this in my account or test accounts that I've set up to investigate.

I signed into your account and had a look The Delete button and associated check boxes don't show because you have no attachments that are eligible for deletion. The attachments in your list are all in closed threads. Apparently, and I was not aware of this, once a thread is closed, the attachments are locked.

If I reopen the thread, you can delete its attachments. If you check your attachment page now, you'll see the attachment you added to this thread can be deleted as well as several others in a thread that I reopened. I don't know if this behavior is a feature or a bug.

I can delete your attachments for you if you want. If you only want certain attachments deleted, but not all, send me a list of attachments you do or don't want deleted, whichever is shorter, and I'll remove them for you.

                  UPDATE
I've made it possible for you to delete your attachments in closed threads. Have fun.

So, if you delete attachments from your account, does that remove those attachments from the threads they were part of?
