Change assigned avatar

I am not enamoured of the avatar assigned to me by the Forum. Is there a page I can go to in order to select an alternative? I have looked but can’t find one.

Just upload your own. Find one you like, download it to your computer, and upload it as a custom avatar.

I am happy in principle with a Forum avatar, just not the one assigned. It’s no big deal but I was hoping that maybe i could choose one from a library of Forum generic avatars. Can I do that and, if so, how?

If you'll go to your Avatar settings, you'll see that there are 16 generic avatars to choose from at the bottom of the selection page. That's all we offer as a selection because we prefer that user avatars be unique. Your default avatar is unique and generated by the Gravitar service.

Thanks. I can’t see 16 avatars. I think I’ll stick with what I’ve got.

Thanks again, Admin. I still can’t see 16 but what I do see doesn’t inspire me. I’ll leave things as they are unless (unlikely) I can have some input to the Gravatar service. A simple change of colour might do the trick.
