    Cannot login using my original name and password but can link using facebook.

    Sign-in credentials were not affected by the Forum's software migration. The obvious explanation for your difficulty is that you're mis-remembering your password. If that's not the case, then the other explanation is that someone hacked your account and changed your password.

    Passwords are encrypted so there's no way for me to verify your current password. You should reset your password in your user settings as soon as possible.

      No I haven't got it wrong as it is kept in my password list in Firefox. Will reset, thanks.

        All sorted now with New password. This switch off your add blocker notice is a bit aggressive on here would not let me in until it was switched off.
