Trying to upload images I'm getting errors from the forum server, things like (paraphrasing) 'error writing temp file', 'insufficient disk space' and 'file content does not match extension'.
Afaik, I'm using the same procedures that worked last week.
Thanks,
Tom
what is the size of files and dimensions of the pix. Sounds like they're too large. There are three ways to add images to posts, as a photo album, in-line, or as an attachment. Which method are you using?
If you have a PC, I've used a program called Fast Stone Photo Resizer for years, and it works great in batch processing (i.e. size, rotation, etc.) photos. The most recent version is 4.3 (https://www.faststone.org/download.htm)
As myorgan points out, that image is too large for the Forum. Maximum dimensions are 1024 x 1024 px. Maximum file size for image files is 1 MB (1,048,576 bytes).
For uploads to the Gallery, maximum file size 6 MB with max dimensions of 1500 x 1500 px. Permitted file size in the Gallery is much larger as it encompasses the maximum file size for all media types, including videos.
Help, on my latest post, I was able to upload 2 very small images, but my photos which are 1000x750 pixel, 350Mbyte (Approx) jpg files will not upload. I just get an "Error uploading Image" message. I also tried PNG file format and got the same error.
