  • How do I find every thread I have started?

Normally such a feature is included in other forums within a user's profile page. There's a link somewhere that says "threads started by this user", even "attachments by this user". I often find if frustrating that it appears several threads I have posted in are not automatically included in my subscriptions, which is understandable for various reasons, but for me to have started them and not be subscribed automatically? Then not being able to click a link to find the threads I started really slows down my navigation if I want to check something from the past.

EDIT: Ok, I just found the thread I was looking for THIS TIME in my subscriptions when I remembered the title and looked again, but what if I have unsubscribed from a thread? It would be convenient to have such features as mentioned above if not more..

I guess you could delete this thread Admin if you think it is no longer relevant since in this particular case it was brought up by a mistake on my end.

    Nutball,

Click on your own name>About tab>Find all posts [Find all started topics, Find all blog entries, Find all group topics, or Find all content]

    Hope this helps.

Many thanks. I think I had looked there at one point, but didn't expect to find it in that tab.

You are correct, in that it is not logical, but it does the job.

I'm glad that with the help of myorgan you've found the answer to your question, but for the sake of others who may have the same question permit me to elaborate a bit.
    Here are some alternatives.

Use the About Tab in the User's Profile
As pointed out by myorgan there are links in the About tab in a user's profile for this purpose. Various filtering and sorting options are available in the resulting list.

Use the Activities Tab in the User's Profile
A user's posting activity appears in this default profile tab. Use the Filter options to select the date range and type of posts in the list.

    Use Advanced Search
You can use the Forum's advanced search to find posts from selected members. The advantage here is that you can supply other filtering criteria, such as dates, locations, and keywords, to help zero in on what you're looking for. Click the Search box at the top of the page to display search options and choose Advanced Search from the list. Enter the username(s) of the poster(s) you're looking for and choose whether you're interested in only those posts started by the user(s). Fill in other fields of the search box as desired.

    Use Today's Posts
If you're looking for a post that was made in the past 24 hours, you'll find it in this list.

    Use Latest Activity
The Latest Activity view provides a chronological view of posts either Forum wide (click the tab on the Home page), in a Channel (click the tab in the Channel) or in a specific topic (click the tab in the topic).Use the Filter option to select the date range and type of posts in the list.

    Automatic Subscriptions
Use the Automatic Subscription option to subscribe you to topics you post in.
