Note that the expression pedal has a standard pot--I'm pretty sure the signal from the pot is read by the microprocessor, which controls the lamp driver, with subsequent CdS photocell to do the actual expression control.

It uses a soldered in 6022 lamp on the preamp board. It's located under a black cover that pulls off. There was a modification to use a CW23 lamp when Rodgers no longer had the 6022.

    Rodgers 705 volume

    Hi,

I have a church in the area that's having a problem with their Rodgers 705 (not sure which version).
The volume went to max and they can't control it.
Is the expression pedal on these optical or just a standard potentiometer?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!
