Dear friends, I'm an owner of a Kawai DX-900 that I love, nevertheless the percussion section have stopped working.
The incriminated integrated circuit is the LM 8671 (divider/gate/command circuit).
Is there someone here who knows where I can find some of those circuits ? I've searched everywhere on the net, even sent emails to some industrials specialized for old parts, impossible to find anything. I've read from 2 old topics in this forum that some people finally found some last ones,...I've also sent several private messages to those people...but didn't get any answer unfortunately...i'm a bit desperate...
So if someone here had the same experience, and knows where to find few LM8671, that would simply save my organ and make me happy. Or if someone bought another Kawai for spare parts for another technical reason or had a faulty Kawai, and would be kind enough to sell me a board...I know that most of the models of the DX and E series share those circuits. If E-150 were equipped with, of course bigger models had some. Any ideas ?
Keep me in touch, guys and keep playing vintage organs !
