  • Technics SX-U90 Spares Required

I am searching for a main Power Supply and Audio Amplifier unit Known as "AS" for the Technics SX-U90. Any info would be most helpful.

I'm sure you already know how old the organ is (1981). There are almost certainly no replacements for the power supply any more, so your only hope may be to find and cannibalise another U90 that's failed due to other reasons. It might be possible to repair or rebuild the power supply, depends what the problem is. As for the audio amps, if it's the power amps that you're talking about, many Japanese organs used the same types of power amps, made by Sanyo. There will be a model number on the amp, most likely starting with STK. It may be possible to get a replacement.
It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

Thanks Andy - I traced the fault to one of the audio amplifier modules and was surprised by the ready availability of a replacement STK465 module. Organ now working just fine!
