Hello again, I'n trying to fix the blown out sound on one of my Lowery tg-1s. Specifically the flute, reed and piano sounds are distorted
i have already re capped the power supply and have confirmed that it is not the issue. I confirmed this by swapping the amplifier between my other teenie geenie that sounds great.
on my organ with the unwanted distortion the drum machine is clear and crisp yet the keyboard tones are totally blown out. It has what the service manual calls a “quality control board”.as well as a the “tone generator board”.
I've ordered new capacitors for both boards, is there anything else I should look into replacing?
can op amps go bad and still produce sound?
thanks for the help!
