  • GERMAN WURLY - hands on training

    Hello
I have Wurly 4300 fully functional, looking like new and sounding amazing.
Repaired thanks to Organforum help, Wurly is a small altar in my church, I mean, my garage.

This purchase and playing on it is a life changing experience.
I have started collaboration with Pawel Wiesik, (www.hammond.pl) who teaches me now how to deal with repair and restoration of instruments.
This will by my hobby now, maybe the job in the future. I am electronic eng, have all knowledge and resources to work on that, just had no time until now. Now its my time :-).

    Lets go,
    First serious hands-on training :

    Freshly bought Wurly 4051 FR.
I need schematics for this thing.
Does anybody have it please ?

This is german product, guys. I am in Europe.
You may not know it. But the schematics of this family (4000...) may be identical with American ones.
Poor in design ( I mean the body), but all rest is good old Wurly.
Has no shh-boom, just few voices, typical switches, keyboard, so feels like home. But reverb, Vib are on the board.

Few problems, but come on, it is complete and I've bought it exactly to make a full restoration and repair (my own first !) of something tasty.

If anyone has some schematics of 4051 or something close, please.

Curious, excited, smiling - this is how I feel now.

Welcome to the forum, Michal. You mention that this 4051 organ is possibly an American built model, and on that base I will happily direct you to an American supply house for Wurlitzer schematics and parts.

      Thank You very much, Jay.

Reinzi looks like a great place.
I was wirtually on their shoe doormat already, but just virtually.... middle of the night there, ca'nt call at this time.
Just the telephone number, no web site, no even mail address. Two comments on FB (which I dont use at all, but had a look in desperation).
This is all what I can find...

And one encouraging information in yellow pages : 71 years in business...:-)
Seems all these modern toys are just unnecessary :-)

I'll call them on your morning.
      Great to have such contact.

      All the best, Jay !

They are the ones to call for Wurlitzer parts. They say they have all the parts for Wurlitzer organs. I contacted them several times regarding my Wurlitzer 950 organ and they were very helpful.
