  • Help with a Salvaged Leslie tremolo unit

    Hi all,

I am new to this forum , nice to meet you all!

I had Salvaged an old Leslie tremolo unit from an old Hohner Organ that didn't work, Tremolo unit worked perfectly before, I had disassembled it and would like to build a cabin for it,
Im still at my early days of DIY project so any Information will help.I know that it had been asked around a few times, But my model is different and I could not fully understand the process. I'm adding some Photos of it. I also have the with between chorale and tremolo mode, Three lines are going out from it Yellow-Green, Blue, Red
Thank you very much, and stay safe in this crazy days.

    Best,

    Doron

Could you take a couple of pics that show the whole thing? That might generate some ideas on how to best enclose it. Welcome to the forum!

Also a close up of that sheet of paper stuck on there. Is it a Leslie 10X?

Yep the fourth pic is what I meant. Some people keep it upright and build a Leslie 16 type enclosure. It looks like you have a crossover on there to protect it from low frequencies. You'll need to know whether there is a relay in there to switch between the motors or whether it is located in the organ. Are you planning to use if for guitar or keys?

            Hi Dave,
Thank you again for your help. I am planning to use it mainly with keys, Fender Rhodes and synth sounds
