    A Gem P10? I can't recall Gem making a P series. There was an F10 in 1977, maybe you mis-read the model number?</P>

Anyway, no F's at all means a tone generator fault. Just lower pitched F's missing means a divider fault. Depending on the organ, this is probably going to be a failed IC somewhere, or maybe power supply failure to to divider or generator board.</P>

You could try joining and posting on www.analogorgel.de. It seems that you do like your old analogue instruments on the Continent and there's a Galanti/Gem page there. If you speak German, fine. If not, post in English and you'll get a response.</P>

Unless the organ is of particular personal value to you, please don't spend any real money on it. You can probably get another one, or something better, for less than the repair costs if it needs many parts.</P>

It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

Hi,<div>I also have a GEM P10, and I know of at least one other GEM P10, so I can confirm they exist.</div><div>The problem could also be caused by the divider. This organ uses a single divider IC per oscillator, so when such an IC fails you lose all notes generated bythat oscillator.</div><div>If you are interested, I can repair your GEM P10, I live in Gent. Just email me.</div><div>Mark</div>

Good to see that you got a reply - even though it was months later! You 'contintental' europeans seem to love your old analogue instruments.</p>

Seriously. It's not a good idea to put your address on here, you should have sent Mark a Personal Message! You might like to remove the address for security reasons.</p>
