• How do I find an organ repairman?

We're located in rural SE Illinois, closer to Vincinnes, IN than any Illinois towns, and we need to find someone to repair a Baldwin C-630-T. It appears relatively simple, a broken sping in the volume control foot pedal (the expression pedal or accelerator??). But having called music shops in towns up to 2 hours away, I have yet to find anyone who can work on it.Some were nice enough to give me leads on a few individuals, but those gentlemen are playing harps now, not repairing organs. Any suggestions?

A great website that JBird has mentioned in the past is this:

    http://www.mitatechs.com/

There appears to be a few people on there in IL that may be able to help you

Hope the site is of use to you.
