  • Tone Decay Issue

I received my Elka/Unicord Panther 300 Italian combo organ yesterday.
It was built in 1967, and everything seems to work fine except for that
the red tone decay tab doesn't seem to do anything. I read that it's
supposed to add a sharp attack to the mixture tabs. I opened up the
case and looked around for obvious problems(broken wires, ect) but
found nothing. What might the issue be?</p>

I posted this on the home organ page before I found this page.

    Re: Tone Decay Issue

Uhm... does the user's guide say if it should work only within particular conditions (e.g. with specific stops or with other effects on...) ?

Yes, it is supposed to work with the tone decay tab on and a mixture tab or tabs engaged. Does anyone have a schematic for this organ?
