With all the pedals out, I'd be suspect of the connection to the amp or at least a connector for the unit that leads back to the amp. For the keys on the manuals it is important to determine the relationship using the octave stop (if 8' is out, does 4' play on the same key? If not it is definitely a key switching problem) I didn't look back in this history to see if the 435 was reed based or electronic. If a generator is definitely missing the appropriate course would be to check reed or divider as the case may be. Just a few quick off the cuff ideas. You may need a manual and some serious research, but be brave. The rewards for bringing one of these old organs back makes the task worth it. Best Wishes!

Wurlitzer 435 help
Hi all. I picked up a Wurlitzer 435 for free, and it has a few problems I would like to correct. A few (2 or 3 keys) are dead, and the pedals do not function, either. What kinds of things could I try to do to get it up and running? I know my way around with a multimeter, but I've never worked on an organ before, so I'm in the dark a bit.
