  • A newbie here, need to ask a question about a Lowrey Organ

I have been fooling around with electronic organs for a few years. I know some electronics and I can also read schematics. I need help with a problem I am having with a Lowrey Organ TLOK-25(I think). The organ is at my church; I am the organist but I like to work on them, troubleshoot, diagnose or study about them. Before the Sunday service I discovered when I powered up the organ that there was a sound like a key was depressed when I turned on a voice on the upper manual. But no key was depressed and all keys sounded in perfect pitch. Seems like the frequency of the sound did not change no matter which key or keys I depressed. Now, there is no problem on the lower manual, works perfect. I have visually checked all I can and I see nothing wrong, no loose connections, etc. Can someone out there clue me in on this problem, you know, perhaps you've had this problem with a similar organ or can give me some possibilites to check. Your help is greatly appreciated and I look forward to this forum.</p>
