how many springs do you need? I actually THINK I have some extras you are more than welcome to (If I can find them!). I purchased an organ at some point that included a Maas Rowe action (but no chimes) so I can pull those off of it if you need them (if I recall correctly they were loose around the box so just let me know how many you need!)

What a deal! To get new springs and strikers for that price is a steal.

Does anyone know if there isa companythatstill manufactures the small keyboards common to Maas-Rowe cathedral chimes? A Parishioner (who happens to be a retired organist) donated the chimes to us last year, and we had them installed in the back of the nave. They are playable from a small keyboard mounted on the organ, but the keyboard is pretty well worn.

You could probably get a keyboard from Maas-Rowe just as cost-effectively as from someone else. They may even have a used one sitting around. Who knows?

Yeah, lol their minimum order was $25 and the springs were only 80 something cents each so I added the tips at 40 some odd cents so the order met the minimum....And who said there were no deals out there anymore???

Davet753...in answer to your question about finding a new chimes keyboard...If your chimes unit is a Maas Rowe, give them a call to see if they still manufacture that keyboard. If not, Organ Supply Industries sells a keyboard that would be compatible.Maas will sell to you directly, as a private individual. Organ Supply will only sell to your organ technician. If you don't have an organ technician, give Randall Dyer a call over in Jefferson City. He can order from Organ Supply for you. Best of luck.

                        Maas Rowe: (800) 854-2023or (760) 743-1311.

                        Organ Supply: (814) 835-2244

Re: Help With Maas 21 Note Chime Action

I own a set of Maas-Rowe Cathedral Chimes myself, but the setup is missing

certain parts (the transformer, i think) that it needs in order to

work. I have the keyboard, action, chimes, cable and interface, etc.

                          Do you have a schematic?

Do you know what voltage/wattage/current-type the transformer puts out?

Can you take pictures of the connections to the transformer or write

them out in detail for me?

I admit that I know little about electricity, but I have an electrician friend who can help me if I just get the right parts and information about how the unit is supposed to work.

Having this info will enable me to fix my Cathedral Chimes. I would be very grateful for this

                          information.

                          Thank you,
