  • ADC-4500 VPO Plan Spec

I have finally gotten around to getting midi set up on my organ. With that nearing completion, I'm beginning to plan my VPO specification. My plan is to set up a VPO with several suites (Theatre, American Classic, Symphonic, Baroque, etc.) that can quickly be switched between. As my organ is a theatre organ, I'm planning on setting up the default as a theatre organ with the same (or very similar) stoplist. I've also picked many of the main stops I want in the other suites. I'm having trouble filling out the rest of the suites simply because I have 80 available stops and sometimes the available pitches and tab labels make it hard to match other specifications. It's also difficult because I'm not as familiar with symphonic or baroque instruments as I'd like to be. I'm planning on using dry samples/sample sets and adding reverb after mixing.

Since the specification is very large, I have a spreadsheet attached to help with mapping everything out. If it's easier to leave comments in the spreadsheet, please do.

I would appreciate any advice or suggestions about stops that I missed, got completely wrong, or should really consider including. I also welcome sample set recommendations.
