  • PIC-1 MIDI board "secret" inputs

    Hi,
I am just about finished with my 3-manual VPO. My last task (actually today) was to wire a homemade generals/divisionals combination piston board. I was convinced that I had used all the available inputs on the PIC-1 and two MIPC-1A MIDI boards. I have a full AGO 32-pedal board and that is normally what PIC-1 is serving. However, looking at the PCB itself, there are 4 more inputs available (G#-A-A#-B). Since mine is mounted on the bottom of the pedal, I cannot verify this now, but I think there are no pins to access those 4 inputs. Just the pertinent PCB tracks and holes.

The Q is: Has anyone successfully utilized those four extra inputs for tones, tabs or combination pistons? Perhaps by soldering directly to the PCB?

    Thanks,
    Zdenek
