  • Grand Orgue Mac sound output help requested.

I have tried numerous times and can't seem to get this program to discover my sound output. When I start up the program I get the following message:

"Output Device Core Audio (PA): Sortidqa integrada not found - no sound output will occur"

Anyone else get this? I would actually like the sound output go from my Macbook air into the speaker system. Here is my exact setup:

Computer: - Macbook air i7 connected to a Thunderbolt monitor

Audio interface: - Presonus fire studio connected to the Apples' Thunder Bolt monitor via fire wire. My main manual is connected via midi here via traditional 5 pin midi to the Presonus - The other is a manual (Berhinger Umx 610) is connected directly to the Macbook via USB

I use the sound out on the Macbook which goes into a cross over which then routes anything over 80 hz to main speakers (self powered) and anything under 80 hz to the sub system.

Hauptwerk has no problems with this set up, but I would like to try Grand Orgue. Any suggestions?

    Any help is appreciated!

    FTR!

Yes I was getting that too a little while back! It was frustrating.

I'd suggest you go into your home directory in the Finder, then select ‘Go to folder...' from the ‘Go' menu. Type in ‘library'. Then go to ‘Preferences'. Find the GrandOrgue files in that preferences folder (probably closer to the bottom) and delete them. There might be two files and a folder.

    Then try relaunching.

If that doesn't work I can give you some other things to try out.
    Viscount C400 3-manual
    8 channels + 2 reverb channels (w/ Lexicon MX200)
Klipsch RSX-3 speakers and Klipsch Ultra 5.1 subwoofers
