  • 1971 Story & Clark 45M Electric Organ

Hi, my name is Patrick. My parents just moved into a new home and found a mint condition 1971 Story & Clark 45M Electric Organ with Magi drum machine built in.
It has all of the original paper work and original sales slip. I can't seem to find out anything about this thing and I'm wondering if it holds any value.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi

Story and Clark organs like this one were simply rebadged Lowrey models, but with different coloured tabs and switches. Lowrey realised that they were competing with themselves and so they weren't produced for that many years. This one looks like a Lowrey 'Saturn', from the same year.

Sorry to have to tell you that its value is realistically zero. If you can find a buyer, maybe you could get a few dollars but be prepared to give it away or, very sadly, dump it. Such is the sorry state of the what's left of the home organ market. When organs twenty years younger and much more advanced are being sold for pennies, you'll see where this one fits in.

I hope you can find it a home, but don't feel too bad if you can't.
It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.
