Hello everyone,
I'm looking for some help on pricing expectations for a Leslie (not sure of the model number) Speaker and Combo Pre Amps (model 020875).
These were my fathers. I have no idea about the last time these were used.
Many thanks for your help.

Looks like a 145 Leslie with a 147 amp. It's been painted and although some would welcome that, it has lessened the value for the original finish is now modified. The large wooden back panel in the center is not installed correctly or is not original to the speaker cabinet. The holes in the back panel should be centered over the motor of the top rotor as shown below.
It looks like the speaker and pre amp pedals were stored in a damp and dusty place.
The pre-amp pedals look to be the standard 7875 Leslie brand pedal to connect a guitar or a keyboard to the Leslie.
What did your father use this for do you know?
If they work and are in good condition they can go for $200 to $400 each pedal.
You would need to test the Leslie and the pedals. This model pedal can only work with the 147 amplifier which appears is what is in your cabinet. You will need a 6 pin Leslie cable to connect the speaker to the pedals. Do not connect any of these pieces of gear to anything else not unless you know what your are doing otherwise you can damage the gear or hurt yourself.
Your 147 amp should look like this inside with the same number of 4 (four) vacuum tubes.
There is also an extra outlet for a reverb amp seen next to the black chicken-head knob on its left.
There should be the round black plug with a short piece of black wire sticking out right above the three AC outlets. If that is not there you will not achieve chorale (slow speed rotor rotation). Check against the photo if you have everything you see.
Any modifications should be noted. You will have to know what you have in order to offer it for sale.
What are the names and numbers of the tubes on your amp?
The two large tubes would normally be 6550 type power tubes and in a Leslie it could be made by Tungsol. Those are worth something if they are still in good condition just by themselves if they are vintage made in USA tubes and not reissues made in Russia. It might say "Leslie" on the large tubes which would then be Tungsols. You can tell by the 'coke-bottle' shape of the glass.
You need a 6 pin to 6 pin Leslie cable to know if your gear works.
They are not low cost but can be found used. There are 6 wires inside this cable and the connectors will only work with your amp and pedals. Has to be 6 pin. Note there are many cables, some 5, 9 and 11 pins. More than 6 pins will not work, won't even connect.
Your cabinet's upper rotor shelf is made of the less desirable MDF/particle board instead of multi-ply plywood.
That will lower the value of the cabinet further to some who look for those specifics.
And then, what speakers are inside the cabinet are an additional issue that needs knowing.
If the woofer is working or not the original factory type same for the upper rotor treble driver which should be a Jensen V21
Upper rotor driver Jensen V21
The black speaker is a 15 inch. You should have two stacks of four motors as shown. This creates the slow/fast speeds of the rotors. They all need to work and be in good condition and adjusted for such.
The rotors are spun by two belts, one each for each rotor. You can only get these belts at a Leslie supply retailer. There are a few online.
There should also be a masonite crossover box sitting next to the large speaker behind the motor stack.
Can't post more than five photos per post.
The speaker has two speeds, fast and slow. The pedals if they are working right will switch those speeds for you when you press on the foot switches.
Video below shows what this speaker looks like under rotor ramp.
As far as sale price, it would depend on who's looking. Not everyone will want the pedals with the Leslie so be prepared to sell things separately.
Your amp looks in rough condition and that would need to be working and cleaned up to get a better value. That by itself could go for several hundred dollars.
Also depends on where the speaker is and how far it's to travel to a buyer as shipping is another issue altogether.
Wow thanks Goff! Great information and I will check on the tubes and other information the next that I am over my moms. I am not familiar with a lot of the terminology but will try my best. My dad had several of the Leslie speakers and Hammond Organs that he collected/played. Just trying to sell the remaining pieces to his collection. I'm in the Pittsburgh area if anyone is interested in making an offer. Again thank you and I will get back with what I can find out.
