I have the schematics and the owners kit for the Wurlitzer 4140 organ and can read them. My problem is I do not know how to trouble shoot or know the flow and would like some help like a service manual. The lower pedals do not work at all. I have traced all the voltages but do not know where the audio comes from or is originated. This is a Organ that I purchased for my daughter when she was 12 years old and she is now on Social Security so I would like to fix it up for her.

Thank you for all the help and the schematics. You sure put me on the right track as to how the pedals work. I had some schematic but no PC board parts layouts. You have helped me very much and I am thankful. Now I have to work on trouble shooting and find the source of my problem. I have another problem which I need to address later and it is all the B keys in the lower keyboard don't work. I will look at that after and if I get the pedals to work.

TonySper,
How did the pedal work turn out for your 4140?
I've been looking for a service manual and schematics for that specific Wurlitzer for months....short version of long story to follow.
My brother-in-law obtained his grandmother's 4140 after she passed last year.
At his house (during the move) it was dropped. I haven't seen it in-person, but I understand it's still “together. When powered on: nothing - no sound.
He was torn up about it.
I'm in Texas south of Austin.
Please, point in an appropriate direction to get the schematics, service manual and anything else for this 4140.
Much Appreciated,
