Many thanks Andy. I saw the screws but was a little reticent to remove them just in case they undid something else.

There should be a lot of bolts under the keybed and some of these will release the upper and lower manuals, which will hinge up. So it's down on your knees on the floor with the screwdrivers! :)

Kawai E-100 - how to access the ECB-II circuit board?
Hi,
I have just come by a Kawai E-100 serial number 308000, picked it up from a charity shop for a very reasonable price.
The organ itself mostly works ok, apart from the electro-chord bass-II bass accompaniment doesn't sound at all.
I've opened the top panel to access the internal circuitry but I cannot see how to lift the top keyboard and circuitry to gain access to the ECB circuit underneath.
It looks as though it should slide and lift on some metalwork runners, but I'm having no luck moving it.
Just wondered if anyone here would have any idea or experience as to how to do this?
Thanks in advance!Tags: None
