  • Conn 645 User Manual

I'm trying to locate a copy of a Conn 645 Theatre Organ user manual. Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Thanks 👍🏻

    Krankin,

I'm not sure it's the same, but there is a Conn 646 brochure here: https://organforum.com/gallery/thumb...bum=128&page=9

Way too many organs to list, but I do have 5 Allens:
    • MOS-2 Model 505-B / ADC-4300-DK / ADC-5400 / ADC-6000 (Symphony) / ADC-8000DKC
    • Lowrey Heritage (DSO-1)
    • 11 Pump Organs, 1 Pipe Organ & 7 Pianos

      Sorry, Michael, they're very different animals. The 645 is a 60s-vintage tube model and the 646 is a mid-70s solid-state digitally-keyed model.

Oh, well. I tried! With some organs, those close model numbers also mean similar organs (i.e. Rodgers 525 & 535 OR Allen 300 or 301).

I have never seen a 645 User Manual. I have the same organ and can probably answer any specific questions. Part of the fun is figuring out this organ's odd quirks.
The 645 service manual is available, and I highly recommend that you get one. Even if you don't know a tube from a transistor, having the manual is extremely helpful to anybody who comes to work on this 50+ year old organ.
