    Allen MDC20 - needs repair - $60 (Lodi, CA)

The church's servicing tech wasn't able to repair, so probably not a simple fix. May be time for VPO.

That's actually not an MDC organ! Obviously a MOS-1 with AGO pedals, even a card reader. And the tech couldn't fix it??? That's nonsense, of course. Either the tech "wouldn't" fix it or the church "wouldn't pay" for repairs.

The rule of thumb is not to pay anything for a dead organ, but if they want $60, then someone ought to give them $60, if they're looking for a repairable Allen MOS organ. Or even to harvest the parts. Allen keys and pedals are of course perfect for a VPO, if a person didn't want to invest in repairs for an organ that old.
