    Older Baldwin On Internet

Found this older Baldwin in my travels. Looks a bit interesting as a 3 manual console: https://www.govdeals.com/index.cfm?f...773&acctid=685

Way too many organs to list, but I do have 5 Allens:
    • MOS-2 Model 505-B / ADC-4300-DK / ADC-5400 / ADC-6000 (Symphony) / ADC-8000DKC
    • Lowrey Heritage (DSO-1)
    • 9 Pump Organs, 1 Pipe Organ & 4 Pianos

That's a c600, a very large analog with four generator sets. I played on a 601, same model with drawknobs, for several years at a former church. I wrote a big description about it back then. Massive and elaborate, but weighs over 1000 pounds and is unbelievably complex. Ours had a stop or two that didn't work.

Twelve channels of audio, sounding through very bulky old fashioned tone cabinets. Honestly, I wouldn't walk across the street to see one. Tour de force of analog technology in the day, but primitive compared to digital. Not a classic or treasured relic as a big old custom analog Allen or Rodgers. Nowadays I don't know of one still in service. Takes a big saw to dispose of one...
