Ebay has had many strange listings for organs over the years but this one is truly the most bizarre one I've ever seen.

"33 pipe church antique organ in Oak casement in working order with upgrades" is the title of the listing. The first photo shows a nice pipe facade with 32 of the 33 pipes mentioned in the title. It goes downhill from there.

Perhaps the note "Needs to be reassembled and may need fine tuning" is the first clue that it it not in "working order." Then you look at the photos of the pieces after it was removed and notice the rats nest of wiring coming out of the console and pedalboard.

But, to paraphrase Clara Peller, "Where's the pipes???" Only the 33 facade pipes and 20 wood pipes are visible in the photos. And no sign of the chimes. Photos of the console stop tabs and coils of telephone cable suggest there was more. And if it was converted to an electronic organ, where are the tone generators, amps and speakers?

I don't know which is more puzzling, the text in the description or the photos.

All this for only $39,999.99 (or best offer).
