  • new song, need comments.

    So I wrote a new piece for organ following the suggestions I got last time. any comments? if you play it, can you send me a video? its just a short little thing. Its called A small work in G Major.

    I played it through with the help of my girlfriend, who is a much better sight reader than I am. I took the base line (she is more of a piano player). It was fun as a piece for two.

            I looked through the score, and my main recommendation relates to the parallel octaves (in the second system for example). If that is the effect you want, that's ok, but perhaps the melody of pedal could provide another contrapuntally independant line, perhaps that could be used as a countersubject for the fugue you intend to compose.
