    Toccata & Fugue in D minor for Orchestra

    Some 20th scholars assert that JS Bach didn't compose the Toccata & Fugue in D minor at all, some say he composed it originally for violin rather than organ. (Many don't care if they never hear it again.)

    In 1927 Leoplod Stokowski transcribed it for orchestra. Here it is played by the BBC Symphony Orchestra. I think it gives a great perspective on how busy the organist is during this piece:
