Has anybody read the book 'Vierne & the Organ' by Rollin Smith? I was wondering how useful it may be, particularly on a practical performance point of view (i.e. comentary of his organ works, corrections of note errors in printed editions etc). It is quite a lengthy book by all accounts (800+ pages!) and quite pricey too (sixty of my english pounds!) and so would like to know if it is worth investing in. Cheers.</P>

Given current exchange rates, you might consider buying from a US source. I was eyeing it on Amazon recently. That and the Franck books. I'd love to hear more about them as well.
