Do you play it to best emulate the three French horns or a typical full loud organ tone as principal or diapason?

What pipe organ stop best emulates a small section of French horns in such a dark, creepy tone as the Wolf theme by Prokofiev?

I like grandpa on the pedals. Especially with a 16' pedal reed.

A phonon or smooth diapason and a hohl flute will work beautifully if you don't have a horn. Close the shades.
