  • SEP vs Lumen Christi Simple Gradual

The church that I am the interim music director and organist at is just now going back to having singing (just a cantor). We were deciding whether to use the Simple English Propers by Adam Bartlett or the Lumen Christi Simple Gradual by Adam Bartlett. Just wondering what people's thoughts were. My initial one was to use SEP but it seems to me that the Lumen Christi is a better choice.

Sorry, but in this case, you're on your own. At this time in my life, I'm not as up-to-date on Catholic liturgy and just play what I'm told. So far for the last two years, that has been the St. Francis Mass music with the Psalm and Gospel responses based on the week's reading or the festival day.

Way too many organs to list, but I do have 5 Allens:
    • MOS-2 Model 505-B / ADC-4300-DK / ADC-5400 / ADC-6000 (Symphony) / ADC-8000DKC
    • Lowrey Heritage (DSO-1)
    • 9 Pump Organs, 1 Pipe Organ & 6 Pianos
