    Temple Theater Organist dies

I was not quite sure where to post this, because Joanne Leach is probably unfamiliar to most people on this forum. However, she was the organist at the Temple Theater in Saginaw, Michigan which has one of the few Barton theater organs which is in its original condition, in its original home. I was not able to find any videos that do justice to the instrument. [There are a couple that have snippets of someone playing it, but nothing worth posting here.]

This is one of the few bright spots in theater organ history. So many of these gems have been lost, and very few are in their original locations. Kudos to the volunteers who have worked so faithfully to keep it going.

Here is a link to the story about Joanne and the Barton.
