Last month I picked up a Reader's Digest Organ LP collection, Organ Memories which included two sides of Reginald Dixon at the Tower Ballroom.
I don't usually pick up organ music collections, but I had actually heard of the Blackpool organ. I had never heard of "theatre organ" until Wallace and Grommit's The Wrong Trousers and that is played for comedy. But since I own 3 or 5 of the home "theatre" models, I thought I should learn something of the possibilities.
city Hammond H-182 organ (2 ea),A100,10-82 TC, Wurlitzer 4500, Schober Recital Organ, Steinway 40" console , Sohmer 39" pianos, Ensoniq EPS, ; country Hammond H112

IJ, you are fairly near to a "hotbed" of theatre organ activity. The ATOS chapter in Indy is very active and frequently sponsors concerts at Warren High School on their dandy Barton 3-manual.

Back in the late 1950's I worked at the Indy Star-News and spent much time at the Indiana Theatre cleaning and working on that Barton. Marvelous instrument!
