    This organ features twice on a double CD of Bach's famous organ works by Peter Hurford (Decca).



    I assume that he uses the Spanish Trumpets in the D major prelude and fugue. Thrilling indeed.

    Not sure if you would consider it "uplifting" butthe best feature of this organ is the drawer which serves as a beverage bar. [:)]

    This has to be one of the best sounding organs I've heard. I love the Spanisch Trompetes on the great manual. Such a thrilling, uplifting sound, this one has. Absolutely gorgeous pipe and console work. What a majestic organ, and I reckon it must be really something to play! I really like Rieger organs. Opinions on this particular instrument? I'd really love to hear Gerhard Weinberger on the Ratzeburg Rieger. I love his style.
