  • Who made these pipes?

I recently aquired a 4' Gemshorn by an unknown builder. The marks "C. S. Ficks" are stamped into the Tenor G pipe as well as "09183". Any idea of the builder?

If the stamp on the pipe weren't so clear, I would have thought it was Fisk (pipe organs), however, that's probably not the case here. The number may relate to the scale of the pipes, but this number appears as though it might be a date.

Not sure that helps at all, but might narrow the search.
