Many of you have viewed the potos I have recently added to the Forum. Thanks for looking.

Each of these instruments, save for the ones at Duke University I have played. They each offer an insight into organ design, acoustics and the thrill of figuring out how to use each instrument to its fullest potential. As any organist knows, that is not easily accomplished. I will add more as I get them. One I want very badly is the only Holtkamp Walter ever built that is in a box (i.e. European style, if you will). I saw it when it was being built, played it for a year or better and now hope to get someone to send me a picture. The church it is in (St. Paul's Luheran E 55th St Cleveland is being disbanded and the organ is for sale.

Moving an instrument from one venue to another is tricky. For example, the move of the Roosevelt-Skinner-Holtkamp from old Warner Hall (Oberlin) to th new Warner Hall was not successful. The next move of that instrument to Texas Tech is a whopping success.
