  • Wicks 1968 stop action magnets common polarity

I purchased from storage a 1968 Wicks console with the original 30 ohm Wicks stop action magnets, all wires from the Positive and Negative bus terminals have been cut so I don't know if the common for these magnets are Negative or Positive (as all the common wires to the Pedal and Manual contacts and stop action magnets are all wired with twisted BLACK wires) nor, if it is the case that these magnets will only work if common is POS or NEG. Is anyone familiar with these action magnets, if so, please let me know. Thanks

The common on Wicks is connected to the Negative of the power supply and you supply the + or positive from switching to the other lead of the coil. All commons tied to negative.
